Progressing from the blind drawings, I looked at drawings whilst walking. This was a challenge as I had to do these whilst holding onto Lulu. Done by oil pastel in my visual diary. Some landscapes of what was in front of me, and some of the buildings I pass. Instead of taking photographs, these drawings have a better impact. Since they were done at the time and place. Having anywhere between 5-20 seconds when Lulu stops to sniff something.
Doing these drawings does have a minor disturbance of my everyday. Instead of a leisurely stroll it became extremely focused and difficult. On this particular walk I forgot to even take note of times, weather etc. But I think that's okay considering the results of the drawing.
These are a good basis for a different series of works. I think these may be better suited to the painting method than the blind drawings were.
