As I continue to experiment with my painting style. I decided to focus on one colour. Going with shades of yellow ochre. Lighting is very important on my outings, it impacts on my mood which sets me up for the day. It also makes Lulu happier. I felt this colour choice best represented that. Isolating one colour has worked well here, and is another method I intend to explore. I chose to keep the imagery somewhat the same as Routes V to maintain connection between works. This was a experiment was also testing a new paper I got a hold of. Firstly, too thin. But I do prefer working on paper that isn't white. I think white paper makes my work lack depth. To resolve this I've started layering my paper with raw umber
