Finished work early so met parents at BAAD. Took a route which led me along Bell Street then onto the Gallowgate. Photographed what took my eye. Urban area I hadn't noticed. The sun really helps, climate really impacts. It would look rotten any other day. Weather is something to look at? Lighting. Work around lighting.

First thing I did was take Lulu out , beautiful, sunny morning. She's always the happiest at that time. It's my favourite time too. The area really shows itself for what it really is. My street looks the part, each individual house. I always look up and down the street on days like this. Today I noticed, less noise from the roads. Drastic temperature drop. Perfect level of cold. Buildings; Duke Street hospital never photographed properly today. Then the Necropolis, don't need to say much about it, it was good as always. Peaceful, tranquil. Good for the soul, genuine smiling. The weather really makes the difference.

Note: I've decided to start typing up my diary entries onto here as well as keeping them book bound.

Visitied Strathclyde Country Park, with Lulu and Dad. Strange because I have no memory of ever visiting there, positive I haven't. But most people I know have because of the theme park. However, nice river stroll and foresty paths. Once back, spent the day making art followed by wine. Facetimed a friend. Must remind myself to keep in touch with friends.
