Necropolis day! Lulu and I love the Necropolis. It was such a horrible day. However, there's a good thing about it. The place is dead. So Lulu gets to run riot and she's at her happiest. Lots of wet sticks. They leave debris on your hands. Bark bits stuck to wet hands. Heightened senses today. Smell! = The brewery, yeasty, malty, gluten, fermented, alcohol. Disgusting smell but very fitting. That's its home. Also noticed a strange structure today. Would like to know what it is.

Hungover, nice weather helped. Met workies who loved Lulu, she always provokes reaction. Helps to interact with community, start conversations. Feel rewarded with positive responses. Short but sweet walk. Quiet, no cars out.

Thursday. A day to dedicate myself to working from home. Took Lulu out for a walk until I noticed the Royal Mail van so had to hurry back home. So infuriating because it was such a beautiful morning. The parcel arrived but sat down and started this. Again, first thing I noticed was lighting. On the next walk I'm thinking of going up Whitehill Street just to go past family and my old tenement.

Note: It's important for me to reread these entries and type them up. This text here shows an example of the everyday being interrupted. Using these walks to represent my everyday, it was disturbed because I didn't want to miss my parcel. (For the second time).

Got Lulu back out, up Whitehill Street, sense of familiarity and place is triggered. Grandparents, aunts and uncles and cousins flats. Again, lighting is key. Noticed blonde sandstone. Lots of dogs, none that liked Lulu. Noticed more people out on the streets too. It was busy in the area for midday Thursday. I would expect people to be at work, WFM etc. Children playing from the local schools, roads busy too. Concrete arrived. Still haven't noticed 'artefacts' as such. So I intend to make them myself. An interpretation perhaps? Or its just litter. Also recognising significant points as landmarks; draw up a map?
